Lightweight Containers, the manufacturer of the KeyKeg, announces a breakthrough in its coupler sales price. This became possible because of both a direct (KeyKeg consortium) and cooperative sales approach (DSI Germany).
Jan Veenendaal CEO van Lightweight Containers and chairman of the KeyKeg consortium explains: “Global sales of KeyKegs are increasing rapidly. Because of the revolutionary two compartment system, the KeyKeg uses a special coupler. This two compartment system, a bag-in-ball system, protects the beer against the propellant gas. We equipped every KeyKeg-coupler with a safety pressure valve (US-standard) to avoid human error due to using non-specification CO2 gas pressures. KeyKeg is now globally positioned as a synonym for a reliable package for high quality special beers on draft”.
The total purchase volume of couplers provided the opportunity to start special programs with the KeyKeg coupler licensee: DSI in Germany. Special programs for bars and restaurants such as a buy-back guarantee and the coupler exchange program are just two of the special promotions besides a very attractive sales price of $ 50.
